Step-by-step guide to deactivate the rain sensor in order to make cleaning and maintenance easier:
1. Ensure you have your remote controller
2. Stand near the roof control unit:
Being within range of the system is necessary for the remote to communicate with the control box.
3. Press and hold the "STOP" button:
On your remote, locate the "STOP" button and press and hold it down for approximately 10 to 12 seconds.
4. Listen for confirmation:
The control unit will emit beeps to confirm that the rain sensor has been deactivated.
5. Proceed with cleaning:
With the sensor deactivated, you can now operate the louvres and clean the sensor face.
Important considerations:
Temporary deactivation:
This process deactivates the sensor only for a limited time, typically 60 minutes.
Automatic reactivation:
After the deactivation period, the sensor will automatically reactivate. If the sensor is still wet after this time, the roof will likely close automatically.
